Omar Rodriguez has lived in Saddle Brook for decades. He raised his family here and knows the neighborhoods, the streets, and the people. He understands what it means to pay taxes, raise kids, and expect basic services to work. He watched how decisions made at Town Hall affect everyday residents — sometimes for the better, often falling short. That gap between what Saddle Brook families deserve and what they actually get is what drives him.
Eight Years of Leadership
Omar served eight years on the Saddle Brook Township Council and was elected Council President four times. He didn’t use the position to build a political career. He used it to push for transparency, question wasteful spending, demand better results on roads and infrastructure, and stand up against overdevelopment that threatens the character of our neighborhoods. He learned how Township Hall really works — where the problems are, how decisions get made, and what it takes to put residents first instead of politics first.

Omar loves this town and the people who live here. He wants Saddle Brook to remain a place where families can thrive, seniors can stay, and hard work is rewarded. Saddle Brook families and seniors cannot keep paying more for the same results. Omar will review spending carefully, hold the line on unnecessary increases, and prioritize core services that actually improve daily life.
Infrastructure That Works
Roads, drainage, and basic services should work the first time. Omar will push for a real multi-year plan, better use of available funding, and accountability for results — not more excuses.
